Christmas was lovely, my parents are going to help me pay my rent this month (as part of my gift)! I also got a RUBIK'S CUBE!!!! -- finally, after 15 years of asking (literally, i've wanted one since I was five). On Christmas eve, part of my aunt's chandelier fell into the zuppa di mare ... how stereotypically italian can we get. seriously. I also think it's really cute that whenever my family says something in Italian (fyi, everyone in our family speaks and understands) they'll repeat it and translate it into english. My Italian has gotten so good over this break! I'm so proud of myself.

I figured some of you might be interested in the types of gifts that I get for people. So, I'll show you what I got for Conor who has been one of my best friends for a greater portion of 16 years. (I was also going to get him Taco Bell gift cards, but they were sold out! - seriously, i went to like every taco bell in a hour radius).
